PROBEMART provides GMW CPCO/CPC clamp-on (open) Hall-effect current sensors, capable of measuring DC-50KHz, 0~16000A AC and DC currents, with an overall measurement accuracy of 1%; they are mainly used for current testing of electric vehicles, motors, PV inverters, variable-frequency drives, battery charging/discharging, electromagnetic actuators, etc. They can usually be used with various power analyzers, recorders, data loggers, and oscilloscopes for testing.

Hall-effect current transducers are based on the magnetic balance Hall effect principle for measuring the DC component and the magnetic induction principle for measuring the AC component: a current C is fed into the control current terminals of the Hall element, and a magnetic field with magnetic flux density B is applied in the normal direction of the Hall element plane; then, perpendicular to the current and magnetic field directions (i.e., between the Hall output terminals), a potential VH is generated, called the Hall potential, whose magnitude is proportional to the control current. Hall-effect current probes are particularly suitable for high-precision AC+DC measurement scenarios.
