PROBEMART offers GMW CPCO/CPC clamp-on (split-core) Hall-effect current sensors that can measure AC/DC currents from DC-50KHz and 0~16000A, with an overall measurement accuracy of 1%. They are mainly used for current testing of electric vehicles, motors, PV inverters, frequency converters, battery charging/discharging, electromagnetic actuators, etc. They can usually be used with various power analyzers, recording/playback instruments, data acquisition units, and oscilloscopes for testing.

The Hall-effect current transformer measures the DC component based on the magnetic-balance Hall effect principle and the AC component based on the magnetic induction principle: when a current C is fed into the control current terminals of the Hall element and a magnetic field with magnetic flux density B is applied along the normal to the plane of the Hall element, a potential VH will be generated in the direction perpendicular to the current and the magnetic field (i.e., between the Hall output terminals), which is called the Hall potential and is proportional to the control current. Hall-effect current probes are particularly suitable for high-precision measurement scenarios with AC+DC.
