IWATSU SS-280A-H high-temperature-40 to 150 deg 30000 A high-current high-frequency Rogowski current coil probe

The SS-280AH series uses an open flexible coil with a maximum wire diameter of 1.7mm, which can pass through pin testing. It is suitable for narrow and extremely small spaces, with a coil length of 84mm. Compared with traditional current sensors, it is easier to install and use, and can measure and monitor current online.


The SS-280A-H series has an appearance essentially the same as the SS-280A series, and the measurement range is also basically the same. The main difference is that the SS-280A-H series is resistant to high temperatures up to 150°C.

It is the only Rogowski coil that can withstand temperatures above 125°C.

Main features of the SS-280A-H series:

• The probe tip diameter is as thin as 1.7mm and can directly detect TO-type MOSFETs and IGBTs used in switch-mode power supplies and other power electronics devices.

• It has a frequency bandwidth of 30MHz, which allows observing high-frequency switching waveforms.

• The current measurement range is 30A~30000A, supporting various current measurements. Since there is no magnetic saturation, large current measurements can be carried out with confidence.

• The probe operating temperature range for A-H type is -40°C ~ 150°C
