PP0001A is Keysight's first passive probe with up to 1 GHz analog bandwidth and capacitive loading less than 4 pF. It has all the ease-of-use advantages of a passive probe and the performance typically found in active probes. The PP0001A is designed for InfiniiVision and Infiniium oscilloscopes that use the AutoProbe I interface and is supplied with the PP0004A adapter. The PP0001A/2A/3A probes are new-generation Hi-Z+ probes; the probe can be regarded as a combination of "probe and probe adapter (PP0004A)."

This combination does not have a fixed attenuation ratio; instead, for each given V/div setting, multiple attenuation ratios are available to accommodate a very large dynamic range and flat frequency response.
