The M series high-power coaxial resistor comes in 4 different shapes and sizes

High wattage models are standard configurations. The wattage of 1M is 20 watts, and 2M is 30 watts. Both 1M and 2M cases are equipped with heat sinks.

For finned models, the wattage of 1M is 75 watts, and 2M is 125 watts. The specified wattage is based on high-current connections with unrestricted installation.

The case temperature should not exceed 140 °F (60 °C).

Additionally, finned models require an airflow of 100 cubic feet per minute (2.8 cubic meters per minute) through their case.

The ambient temperature should not exceed 86 °F (30 °C). When operating above this temperature, the rated power should be reduced accordingly.
